Host Families Needed for Summer 2010
We are looking for families who would like to give a college athlete
a home experience while they are living away from home for the Summer.
Athletes will be arriving the first of June and will be here until
late July or the first few days of August. Opening up your home
to an athlete is beneficial for you and the athlete. Many longtime
bonds are formed with these players and who knows - your athlete
might be a MLB player in the future! You can find out more information
under the TEAM
INFO section.
Thank You to Everyone Who Helped Make
2009 a Success!
We would like to thank all of our volunteers, Host Families, coaches,
and players who contributed to another successful Braves Baseball
Season. It truly is a group effort and we couldn't have done it
without so many individuals. Thanks go out to our Host Families
(Larry Bartolotti, Dan Carney, Tom & Laura Hellstern,
Frank & Carlyn Lynch, Barry & Cindy Mark, Ivan & Patricia
Mills, Stuart & Barbara Pierce, Brian & Maureen Schweppe,
Chris & Amy Smith, Larry & Natalie Ward, Larry & Jennifer
Wright, and Scott & Sheri Zimmerman. We want to also
thank Craig & Kim Garten for finding our host
families and working with the Youth Braves program; Larry
Wright for giving hours and hours to organize the Youth
Teams; our scorekeepers Jay McMann, John Endahl, Elizabeth
Leach and Eric Booma, our Internet Broadcast team - Joe
Grimberg, Matt Harris, and Joey Truncale; our Game Announcer
Jim Leach; our Athletic Trainer Lauren
Lombardozzi and our ATC Intern Shannon Rubenstein;
Marybeth Henry & Robbie & Meghan who helped
organize the Junior Braves and ran our highly popular BINGO games;
Diane Sullivan and Lynne Ray and the HHS Cheerleaders
who kept the Concession stand running smoothly; and Lauren

We wish our 2009 Braves players a successful 2010 season and look
