Players and their local families form a bond that doesn't end
when the season comes to a
close.

If you love baseball and the idea of sharing your home with a possible future
Professional Baseball Player, have we got an opportunity for you! The Herndon
Braves summer collegiate baseball team is bringing talented players from all
across the USA right here to the Herndon community! Help us bring a winning team
to our area by volunteering to be a host family. Host families provide a safe
and comfortable family environment. These young men will provide a positive influence
in our community and in your home.
Players will begin arriving in late May/early June and will be playing baseball
until late July. Host families typically provide meals for the player and give
them access to a washer and dryer. Some families have hosted two baseball players
and find it is sometimes easier than just hosting one.
Each host family will receive a free "Host Family Package" that
includes -
- Host Family Recognition Night
- Autographed Team Photo
- Braves t-shirt for each family member
- FREE Registration to Herndon Braves Summer Camps
- FREE Golf Registration for one person at our Golf Classic,
July 3rd
