The Braves are a summer collegiate baseball team playing in the Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League. The Braves were founded to bring the thrill of high caliber baseball to the Northern Virginia area. The league offers a very competitive level of play where over 80% of the players are from top rated Division 1 baseball programs from around the country. Costs can be over $50,000 a year to field and operate a team of this caliber. Remaining funds go to support area youth baseball programs.

Many dedicated members of the Northern Virginia community come together behind the scenes to make Braves baseball possible. This provides local families with the opportunity to spend time together watching quality collegiate baseball at no cost. The season begins on June 6 th and will continue until the first week of August.

We would like to offer you an exciting opportunity to become a business partner with the Braves for the 2008 Season! There are opportunities at a number of different levels and they provide a variety of advertising and branding options to recognize your contributions.

Golf Tournament – We will hold our 2 nd Annual Golf Classic on Thursday, July 3rd at Virginia Oaks Golf Club. Opportunities available are:

• Course Sponsor ($5,000) – Corporate name on program, registration table, putting green, golf carts, team photos, and website. Includes four player entry fees (value $500).
• Premium Sponsor ($1,000) – Corporate name on program, registration table, website, and hole of your choice. Includes two player entry fees (value $250).
• Beverage Cart Sponsor ($750) – Company name on program, registration table, website, and the beverage cart.
• Contest Sponsor ($500) – Choose between Longest Drive contest, Closest to the Pin contest, or the Most Accurate Drive contest and we will display your company name on the hole. Company name will also be on the program, registration table, and website.
• Practice Area Sponsor ($250) – Meet and greet our participants at your own display as they practice. Company name will be at the Practice Area, as well as on the program, registration table, and website.
• Hole Sponsor ($150) – Company name will displayed at the tee and in our program and website.
• Silent Auction/Door Prize Sponsor – Donate any items such as gift certificates, merchandise, or items for our Goodie Bags.

NOTE : All donors will be recognized during home games and our Internet Broadcast.

Bus Sponsor – Six of the eight teams in the Ripken League all reside in Maryland. The Braves funds charter buses to a majority of away games to ensure the safety of our players. For just a $750 donation, you will be recognized as a Bus Sponsor for an away game. All donors will be recognized during home games and our Internet Broadcast.

Inning Sponsor – Our games are a minimum of nine innings and there is a variety of opportunities to promote your business. Donate discount coupons, free item coupons, or merchandise and we will promote your name during an inning. For example, if you donate coupons for a free food item, we will announce that this is the “Company A Third Inning”. If the Braves make a Double Play during this inning, all people in the stands will receive a coupon for a free Company A food item. Other options of using your donation are available. Your sponsorship will also be recognized during our Internet Broadcast.

BINGO Sponsor – During select games, we will have a BINGO game. Your donation will be given to the winner during that game. If multiple items are donated, we will award multiple winners the item.

Sponsor Night – Donate discount coupons, free item coupons, or items and we will promote that the game Sponsor for the night is Company A. All game attendees for that night will receive the donated item. We can also put your company logo on an item given away that night for a donation of $500. Your sponsorship will also be recognized during the game announcing, Internet broadcast, game program, and website.

Junior Braves Club – The Junior Braves Club is designed for youth aged 7 – 12. All members receive a t-shirt, membership card, Clubhouse for activities, and much more. Donate discount coupons, free item coupons, merchandise, etc. and we will designate a home game as your Sponsor night. Junior Braves Club members will all receive your item/coupon during that game night. Your sponsorship will also be recognized during the game announcing, Internet broadcast, game program, and website.
